Would You Ever Date Older Women?
The concept of dating to me has always been straightforward: have fun, have a healthy sexual relationship, and move on. However, I would like to share my personal experience and views on dating older women. For as long as there is no personal objection, age should not be a barrier in establishing a romantic relationship.
Personal Experiences and Insights
Our son expressed a desire to date a woman who was older than him, despite being only a few months apart in age. As adults, he freely dated women of various ages, from younger to older, without any interference from others. In the end, he chose to marry a woman born on the same day he was born. To me, such a choice is neither wrong nor right; it’s a matter for the individuals involved.
Another consideration is that women tend to live longer than men on average. For those concerned about longevity, dating an older woman could potentially be a viable option.
Advantages of Dating an Older Woman
For younger men, there are numerous advantages to dating women who are 35 to 45 years old. These women are mature, have extensive experience, and can offer a lot in terms of companionship and intimacy. They can provide a rewarding romantic relationship, and sex is just one of the many aspects to consider.
Reflections and Aspirations
Looking back, I realize that I would have avoided wasting time on my current marriage if I had known more about such relationships. My deep-seated preference for older women is rooted in a desire for stability and maturity in a relationship.
I have a strong inclination towards dating older women, believing that such relationships can be satisfying and fulfilling. Intimacy is purely a personal choice and consent is the foundation of any healthy relationship. I would allow such a woman to use my body as she pleases, without any reservations, as long as it is consensual.
Recently, I was surprised to find myself attracted to a woman who was 52 years old on my 58th birthday. Such attraction is relative and reveals the diverse nature of human preferences. Other memories include interactions with a kind woman at a gas station in Truckee, a willing partner at the station, and women who expressed their readiness despite being earlier rejected by their spouses. While not everyone finds these women attractive, it’s important to recognize that beauty is subjective and age is not a defining factor in one’s attractiveness.
In conclusion, the decision to date an older woman is a personal choice that should be respected. The key is mutual understanding, respect, and consent.
