I am Vanny, a teen who stans BTS and I am Army since a few years now. My story began when I searched for them out of curiosity, and found myself slowly falling in love with them. What I loved wasn’t their looks, but their friendship and passion for achieving their goals and becoming world-famous. That’s my opinion about stanning BTS.
Why Everyone Adores BTS
Though there are a million reasons, here are just a few:
Their Songs
BTS’s songs are known for their depth and emotional content. Unlike most artists, their lyrics often carry a message about “loving yourself.” Their songs are entirely their own and reflect their true personalities. They often include themes of self-love, resilience, and the importance of believing in oneself.
Unique Album Concepts
Each album, EP, or mixtape from BTS is introduced with a particular theme. The songs are sequenced beautifully, telling a cohesive story with different perspectives and variations. Notably, the "Love Yourself" trilogy exemplifies this concept, as each album explores the same theme from different angles, reinforcing the moral through multiple lens.
Strong Connection with ARMY
When we talk about BTS, we can’t ignore the bond between the band and their fans, called ARMY. BTS has released numerous songs dedicated to their fans through their label,_called Bighit Entertainment. Songs like “Lights,” “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal,” “My You Jungkook,” “Astronaut Jin,” and “Yet To Come” underscore the band’s loyalty to their fan base, expressing gratitude for their support. Members like Jungkook and Jin openly express their love and appreciation for ARMY.

Despite their success and widespread acclaim, BTS remains humble and respectful towards everyone associated with their work. They treat everyone with kindness, from staff to backup dancers. For example, the BTS member Jimin’s behind-the-scenes footage during his new song release shows him praising and thanking his backup dancers, demonstrating his modesty and respect.

The words from BTS members can comfort millions and have even inspired people to seek help from others. Their speech at the United Nations was so moving that many people, whether fans or not, were moved to tears. BTS’s ability to communicate effectively and express care and love is truly remarkable.

BTS is known for their appreciation and respect for different cultures and religions. They show kindness and admiration towards various cultures, often promoting diversity and inclusivity. Jungkook’s personal live session where he listened to and praised an Indian song is a prime example of their cultural sensitivity.
