Week at the Resort
H2: Sitting Poolside or on the Balcony at the Resort
One of the highlights of my week was sitting poolside or on the balcony at the resort I was visiting. While my grandson and I were having fun riding go karts and playing games to win toys, I was enjoying the sun and the time to relax in a bathing suit. However, I must admit, I have a clear limit when it comes to swimming. No pools, no beaches, no resort pools; if the water touches my toes and it's not cool or cold, I stay in my bathing suit and enjoy watching the fun from a distance. But I have to say, the company of others and the joy of seeing my grandson having fun were a treat. Would I love to have a friend to hang out with here at the resort? Absolutely! Gender doesn't matter—just someone to enjoy the scenery and the moments with.

H2: Weather and Other Happenings
Weather has played a significant role in my week. It was truly enjoyable sitting at the resort, but here, it's a different story. The cold front coming in means it's time to kick the old 1965 gas furnace into gear, which bites through a staggering BTU of 160000 to heat 3000 square feet. This furnace is no doubt the heart of my house, generating warmth reminiscent of the story of a squealing couple in the movie 'Green Acres.' It's a relic from 1964, the same year the Mustang was released, back in the golden age of cars.
On a lighter note, last night's Carlos Santana concert was an absolute blast! Dancing to his music with my friend was an unforgettable experience. Another highlight was the Clark County Sheriff who was impressively handsome, leading to an exhilarating joke about being arrested for dancing.
Personal Milestones and Hobbies

This week marked a significant milestone for me: getting engaged. I am head over heels in love with the love of my life, and we spent a wonderful time in San Antonio celebrating this joyous occasion. Additionally, I welcomed a new puppy into my life, adding another layer of love and companionship to my days.
When I get home from work, I have an apple walnut cake to bake, a favorite pastime of mine. This week I also get tosee my very best friend who is visiting, and on Sunday, I plan to order some takeout and watch the scariest movies to get into the Halloween spirit.
