As a fitness enthusiast, walking six miles daily for over two decades has been a cornerstone of my healthy lifestyle. This routine has not only contributed to my optimal health but also my general well-being. I do not rely on any medications, preferring alternative healing methods when necessary. Living Independently at 67

After retiring at 67, the decision to move to another part of the country alone, without assistance, has been both challenging and rewarding. Despite the considerable distance, I manage to stay socially active and engaged. I attend 12-Step meetings to stay connected with others and volunteer my time to help out wherever needed. I also remain physically active by cutting my own grass, cooking, and cleaning for myself, and even picking up roadside trash on nice days. At home, my wife enjoys gardening with potted flowers and indulging in culinary hobbies in the kitchen.
