The Unseen Injustices: Life's Nail-Biting Battles and the Fight for Equality

As the world evolves, injustices continue to haunt us, particularly those that seem to be perpetuated by the very individuals who should offer the most support. These aren't just isolated incidents but patterns that repeat time and again in every corner of society, imposing a heavy burden on individuals and families.

The Battle Within the Home

When I was younger, I faced relentless bullying and ostracization, which led to disproportionate punishment far beyond what I had done. Furthermore, the unjust declaration of war against me and my family left us defenseless and exposed. In moments like these, one has every right to fight back, to safeguard themselves and loved ones. Everyone, irrespective of their past, deserves the right to be heard and protected.

Where Is the Love?

Imagine being born into a world where your parents have no desire to see you happy. The concept seems alien and surreal. It felt as though every parental figure who might have influenced my life was "fucked up." They were either incapable of happiness or so entrenched in their own struggles that they couldn't provide the support required. Instead, the support was either filled with hatred, jealousy, or the need to be right, leading to constant emotional turmoil.

The Silent Suffering of Women

The biggest injustice in my life is the treatment of female children, often seen in so-called affluent or influential families that appear opulent from the outside. These families fail to provide proper attention or education. When these girls eventually fail in life, leading to a lack of financial success, the families simply marry them off to relieve themselves of the burden.

Consider the pain of a woman who, after marriage, can no longer call the people who allegedly were her family, a family name. In her new family, she endures constant humiliation as a woman. In cases where she is not the breadwinner, the conditions are even more dire. Without financial support, she is left vulnerable, a punching bag for all.

The Truth, Bare and Unadulterated

I am not here to paint a grim picture. Instead, I seek to state the stark truth with no embellishment. Women who are genuinely respected face discrimination, often because they have only dealt with inferior men in the past. They do not know what a gentleman looks like and thus favor those who are not.

My Resolutions for My Daughter

For my daughter, I have only two clear-cut resolutions. First, with a hundred percent dedication, I wish to provide her with everything necessary to achieve financial independence. This includes a stable family environment, access to the best educational institutions, personal counseling, and support against any adversity.

Second, and perhaps even more important, if I have a son in the future, I will instill the principles of gender equality from the very beginning. Even if I must leave a single rupee as inheritance, it will be divided equally between my children. This is my daughter, and I am determined to give her everything, raising her to think diametrically opposite to me in terms of gender equality.

It is my belief that equality is the foundation on which sustainable and just societies are built. By addressing these injustices, we can pave the way for a better, more inclusive future for all.
