In hindsight, I don’t know if we’d do it again, but at the time it just seemed the right thing to do, even though all three of us ‘slept on a proverbial sofa’. The only real negative was my younger brother who, as the best man, drove my car up for the wedding and made sure it was full of crickets when we were about to drive it to our first stop on our honeymoon.”
