The Loom of Free Will in an Ordered Reality
In my journey of exploration, I have become increasingly curious about the realms of afterlife, past lives, and souls. So, as per my research, do you think each of the activities and interactions we engage in every minute of our lives are preordained rather than preplanned?Indeed, this complexity is why I call reality an illusion. Our typical perception does not reveal the underlying planning that is in play. Everything may seem spontaneous and coincidental, but it is anything but. This is simply the veil that conceals the truth.
The Nature of Preordainment
Preordained is a more apt term than preplanned. While preplanned could imply that someone higher up has planned your life for you, that is not the case. Instead, everything is predetermined, but you are the author of your destiny. Your karmas from previous lives shape you and guide you.
The Freedom of Response
It is crucial to understand that your responses to these preordained events are not preordained, preplanned, or predecided. You have the complete freedom to choose your actions and reactions. These actions, in turn, become your karmas for the next life.
While there are limitations due to preconditions, these limitations can be overcome. Externally through conscious good behavior, and internally through meditation, you can work to reshape your responses. This internal transformation significantly influences your life experience.
The Balance of Predestination and Free Will
Most things in life are predestined, but with the power of free will, you can alter or take a slightly different path. However, the overall outcome can remain the same. We often set the stage for many things, whether it be learning something, teaching something, or creating an impact. There is always a balance, and multiple scenarios can occur depending on your state of mind, thoughts, and decisions.
The choices you make daily are a powerful force. Your free will to choose shapes your destiny, making it the most gracious gift from God. Your choices will determine your experience in the afterlife. Make good moral choices, and you will likely enjoy a good afterlife. Conversely, poor choices that negatively affect others may lead to difficulties in the afterlife.
The Misconception of Predestination
Even those who believe in predestination still have free will to some extent. Consider that even believers check to see if the road is clear before crossing it. Your ability to choose freely is the only thing that is indeed predestined.
Through the lens of preordainment and free will, we can navigate life with a deeper sense of purpose and responsibility. Understanding these concepts can enrich our lives and provide a sense of direction in the infinite tapestry of human existence.
