The Eternal Presence of God: Understanding the Divine
Have you ever pondered the question, 'Who is God, and is He still alive?' Delve into an exploration of the universal presence of God and discover the true essence of His omnipresence.
From Forgetfulness to Revelation
As we navigate through life, many of us take our faith for granted or fail to consider the profound truths it holds. In my early forties, a profound realization struck me. The belief in a higher being, often seen as a deceased human figure, was a concept I had long ignored. The celebration of Easter, a time dedicated to Christ's resurrection, had become mere formality. It wasn't until a pivotal moment that I came to understand the true nature of a loving and eternal Creator.
Discovering the True Nature of God
God Almighty, known as Jehovah, has always existed and will always be. He is not a mortal who once lived but an eternal being. The plethora of gods and deities in various religions and belief systems are often the creations of believers, reflecting their own desires and beliefs. These deities are not real entities; they exist only in the realm of imagination and faith.
The Living God Misconception
A common misconception is the belief that the Dalai Lama is the 'Living God.' However, this title is a misinterpretation. In Buddhism, the Dalai Lama is a spiritual leader, not a deity. He is entrusted with continuing the lineage of spiritual teachings left by the lord Buddha. The concept of a 'Living God' does not align with Buddhist philosophy, which emphasizes seeking enlightenment through the teachings of Buddha.
The Dalai Lama, born on July 6th, 1935, and currently 88 years old (as of Jan 2024), is a renowned figure in the Buddhist community. His teachings and leadership are paramount; however, the title 'Living God' is a misunderstanding of his role and responsibilities within Buddhism.
God as an Eternal Spirit
The nature of God transcends the physical realm. Unlike mortals, God is a spiritual entity whose existence is absolute and eternal. God is not a male or female entity but a universal spirit or the creator. The term 'he' is used merely because the Bible employs it, but in reality, it is more appropriate to refer to God as the Creator or the Universal Spirit.
God is not just a concept or a belief but a fundamental aspect of the universe. God is the light in the tunnel, guiding the function of our neurons. Each of the approximately 100,000,000,000,000,000 (10^18) microtubules in our brain cells contains a representation of God, directing cell function and ensuring the harmony of our existence. The divine truth that governs us is a biophysics-produced reality, blending elements of biology and quantum physics. These super-accelerated photons create a photon trap that forms the tunnel, a manifestation of the divine essence within us.
The truth about God is that He is beyond human comprehension. Just as we cannot measure or define infinity, so too can we not fully grasp the nature of God. However, the concept of God as the Eternal Presence serves as a guiding force, a light in the darkness, offering solace and direction to all who seek understanding.
