While some sources have mentioned that the wound was caused by an AR-15 pattern firearm, this alone provides no clear indication of what exactly hit Trump's ear. AR-15 rifles can be chambered for a wide range of calibers, ranging from .22 long rifle to 300 Blackout and potentially beyond. Without more specifics, the exact nature of the injury remains unclear.

There have been some theories, such as the possibility of the injury being caused by a piece of a shattered teleprompter rather than a bullet. My Wound Analysis

I have sustained a number of wounds, including three grazing wounds to my abdomen, a penetrating wound to my left leg, and a traumatic injury slightly to the left of my plate carrier. In my case, the grazing wounds left marks similar to those from AK rounds, a .762x39mm projectile. The penetrating wound in my leg caused more damage, shattering on the bone without breaking my leg.

While these wounds were severe, they were not as damaging as the head shakes inflicted by my tomcat.
