Sharing My Academic Journey with Dad: A Letter from Abroad

Dear Dad,

How are you doing over there? It's been a long time since we last spoke. I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I decided to write to you to share my latest progress in studies, since my last conversation. It feels amazing to keep you informed about my academic journey, and I want to make sure you are proud of how far I've come.

Academic Performance

Our teachers have been willing to acknowledge my hard work, and my academic performance has really improved. I was recently moved up to a higher class, which is a significant achievement for me. This move is a sign that my efforts are paying off, and I'm grateful for the recognition I have received. Maintaining a high GPA of 3.8, I have been doing well in all of my courses.

Computer Science Projects

In my computer science classes, I have particularly enjoyed the projects we have worked on. These projects have allowed me to apply the concepts we have learned in a practical setting. It's incredibly rewarding to see our theories come to life, and the project outcomes have been nothing short of remarkable.

Extracurricular Involvement

Outside of the classroom, I have been very active in the University's robotics club. We recently competed in a regional competition, and our team placed second, which was a fantastic achievement. Being part of a hands-on project like this has been a great way to apply my technical skills and work collaboratively with my peers.

Future Plans

Looking ahead, I am starting to think about my internship and job opportunities after I graduate next year. My goal is to find a summer internship in the tech industry to gain some real-world experience. It's exciting to consider the various roles and companies I should look into, and I would love any advice you have to offer. Do you have any specific companies or industries in mind that you think would be a good fit for me?

Miss You

I miss you so much, and I hope you are managing to keep in touch with Mommy and the rest of the family here. It's been a great adventure, but sometimes I wish we could share our experiences more directly. Knowing your thoughts on my progress and plans would be incredibly valuable to me. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else you would like to discuss. I can't wait to hear from you soon!

Beyond school, I have also been supporting my siblings in their studies. Seeing them do wonderfully well in their own little areas fills me with pride. Together, we are a force to be reckoned with.

I hope to hear from you soon, and I can't wait to catch up in person one day.

Love,
