Preparing for SSB: My Journey from Zero Level to Success
Ever since I was 14, I had a dream of joining the armed forces and becoming an officer. However, I started at zero level, with no set timetable for my preparation. Psychological preparation is equally vital for SSB. I would practice writing sentences from random words and creating stories based on pictures I found online. This exercise helped me enhance my mental agility and prepare for the psychological tests. Although rote memorization is not recommended, it can be beneficial to build speed and confidence. Just focus on your thought flow and practice until you feel comfortable and confident.

Improving yourself as a whole person is key. The Officer's Leadership Qualities (OLQs) will come naturally if you focus on becoming a better individual. Engage in household chores, help people in need, and reflect on areas where you think you could improve.
