Personal Insights from a Chemical Engineering Batch

From my personal experience as a 2015 batch chemical engineering student at IET Lucknow, the placement scenario was varied. In 2015, TCS emerged as a mass recruiter, placing 107 students at 3.5 LPA, including me. Tata Chemicals was another major player, placing 5 students at 6 LPA. However, not all were as fortunate. A significant number of students, approximately 55 out of 60, remained unplaced, indicating a mixed success rate.

For students with the potential and right skills, the placement prospects at IET Lucknow are promising. However, those lacking the necessary credentials or skills may face more challenges. It is essential for students to take full advantage of the resources and support available to enhance their employability and placement chances.
