NEET 2022 Exam Analysis: Paper Difficulty Cutoff Prediction

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the 2022 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) on [Insert Date]. Biology

Chemistry was moderate and again, it was entirely from the NCERT.

Physics was super easy and was based on the NCERT syllabus. For me, the overall paper was easy to moderate.

Factors Affecting the NEET 2022 Cutoff

Paper Level

Compared to last year, the NEET 2022 paper was almost similar but with additional 20 minutes. This slight advantage in time will slightly increase the cutoff.

Number of Candidates Appeared

There was a sharp increase in the number of candidates this year. However, this increase is expected to not significantly affect the cutoff because the gross percentage of students crossing the mark has remained relatively stable over the last three years. Many students participate in NEET just for the experience.

Number of Seats

If my calculations are correct, 25,000 new seats, both government and private, were added this year. This addition is anticipated to slightly decrease the cutoff.

Predictions for the NEET 2022 Cutoff
