Steps to Change Your Google Profile Name on Android:

Open the Settings app on your Android device. Tap on Google. Tap on Manage your Google Account. At the top, tap on Personal info. Under Name, tap on Edit. You may be prompted to sign in. Enter the new name you want to use and tap Done.

Note: You can change your name as many times as you want.

Computer

Steps to Change Your Google Profile Name on a Computer:

Sign in to your Google Account. Under Name, tap on Edit. Follow the steps on the screen to make the changes.

iPhone/iPad

Steps to Change Your Google Profile Name on iPhone/iPad:

Open the Gmail app. Tap on the Menu button, then Settings. Select Your Gmail account. Tap on Manage your Google Account. If you don't use Gmail, go to another option. At the top, tap on Personal info. Under Name, follow the steps on the screen to make the changes.

Note: You can change your Google profile name as many times as you want.

Change the Name on Your Gmail Account

Steps to Change the Profile Name in Gmail:

Go to your Gmail account on a computer. In the top right corner, click on the Settings icon (looks like a gear). Click on the Accounts and Import or Accounts tab. Under Options or Other settings, enter the new name you want to show when you send messages. At the bottom, click Save changes.

Important: Google only allows you to change your name once every ninety days. Choose wisely as it will be a while before you can change it again.
