Exploring Hobbies: Art, Craft, and Creativity
Art and crafts have always been an integral part of Ishika's life, shaping her unique perspective and creative expression over the years. In this article, we delve into her passion for various artistic pursuits, from traditional painting to digital art.
Early Artistic Beginnings
From a young age, Ishika has shown a deep affinity for art and craft. During the festival of Diwali, she would intricately paint and decorate special earthen lamps, which adorned her home and relatives' houses, showcasing her juvenile yet creative works. Teachers and family members recognized her interest, and her artwork found its place in numerous walls.
Expanding Horizons in School
In middle and high school, Ishika experimented with a variety of art forms, ranging from oil pastels to pencil sketches. She tried her hand at Madhubani style glass painting, rakhi making, and rangolis, a traditional art form also done during Diwali. Her dedication and effort often earned her accolades; she even received a few prizes in school, although she remains humble about her achievements.
Artistic Break and Resurgence
However, Ishika's artistic journey faced a brief hiatus in her 11th and 12th grades as she focused more on academic pursuits. It wasn't until she completed her entrance exams that she decided to re-engage with her artistic passions again. The lockdown period provided the perfect opportunity, allowing her to explore and revive her creativity. During her time at AIIMS, she had the chance to further develop her skills through the Pulse Fine Arts Department and participation in party decorations.
Post-12th Standard Artworks
After completing her secondary education, Ishika delved into a variety of artistic projects using different mediums. She experimented with poster colours, created detailed pencil sketches using HB and 2B pencils, and tried her hand at Madhubani-style pen art. Each piece showcased her versatility and dedication to her craft. Ishika is also enthusiastic about learning digital art and is eager to receive ideas and suggestions from like-minded individuals.
Conclusion
Through her journey with art and craft, Ishika has not only honed her creative skills but also enriched her life with a sense of accomplishment and joy. Her love for these hobbies continues to inspire her to pursue her artistic interests and share her creations with the world.
