Retirement in the Midlands
North East England, by the Coast in Tynemouth
Tynemouth is a very pleasant place to live. Having retired here, I now enjoy the peace and tranquility of a nice flat. The beach and nearby coastline offer excellent opportunities for walking and enjoying the fresh air.
South Oxfordshire, in the Village of Blewbury
Today, I am in the village of Blewbury, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Oxfordshire. In the morning, I went for a run with the dog over the hill. We then contributed to the village marquee, a project funded by part of the proceeds from the local beer festival and the village midsummer dance. After that, we participated in a village yard sale and set up a repair café in the village hall. It's a great community event!
North Yorkshire, Cleveland
Today is a beautiful day in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, and it's quite mild as we host the British Road Cycling Championships. The event is a favorite for cyclists and for those who love the scenic coastal routes of North Yorkshire. Let's not forget to enjoy the fascinating coves and the salt-scented air!

I live in the beautiful county of Hampshire, where the countryside is picturesque and the towns are charming. Today is a lovely summer day, with a temperature of 28°C and a light breeze. The view from my patio is absolutely delightful. I'm also taking care of the garden and doing some repairs, such as adding an e-sim to my mum’s phone.
Electrical and Home Projects
Today is Sunday, and the weather is perfect for some DIY work. My wife is out, so the electric car is not on the drive, which means I get to use the garage. I'm building a climbing wall for my son and checking on the greenhouse. Solar panels are also generating power, and I'm exporting them to the grid. Life's good!
