Over time, bacteria and other impurities can build up on the filter candles, leading to a decrease in water flow and an increase in back pressure. Regular cleaning helps maintain the filter’s integrity and ensures that your water remains clean.

Monitoring Pressure Differences

One of the simplest ways to determine when it is time to clean the filters is by monitoring the differential pressure before and after the filter. A significant increase in back pressure indicates that the filter is clogged. By comparing the pressure readings, you can easily identify when maintenance is necessary, ensuring that your water purification system remains in top condition.
