Introduction
Embarking on a journey of self-discovery, I, at a young age of 13, first felt the overwhelming pull of art when I got my first phone and accessed the internet. Drawing, a hobby I had indulged in since childhood, suddenly bloomed with a newfound depth and intensity. The internet served as a gateway, offering a wealth of learning resources that accelerated my skills in the field. Today, I can proudly say that these digital tools have been instrumental in honing my artistic talents.
I have shared some of my artworks on social media, and you can check out my DeviantArt account: AxK27, where you can view my creations. On TikTok, you can follow my sister and me as we embark on artistic journeys together: JayBeeDraws. Both platforms have allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals and share my passion with the world.
Another significant passion in my life is my deep connection to the Bible. Having grown up in a Christian household, I began to explore these teachings more deeply during my teenage years. While I still have a long way to go, I am grateful for the progress I have made and the many accomplishments I have achieved.
Discovering my passion for writing and the arts didn't happen until I was 30 years old. However, what matters more is the continuous quest for new experiences and knowledge. It is important to embrace new challenges and accept failure as a step towards success. Each stage of life brings different realizations, and it's perplexing to think that someone might reach the peak of their passion to find it was not what they had anticipated. Thus, it is wise to be passionate about many things to broaden your horizons and discover multiple passions.
Exploring My Vision of the Future
When I was 15, I had a vivid vision that I found difficult to dismiss—a vivid image of myself seated at a large desk littered with money. This vision marked my first awareness of an interest in finance or the pursuit of wealth. In college, I discovered an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Initially, my goal was to earn a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, which would prepare me for a position in finance. However, once I achieved that degree, it was not enough for me. I sought to learn everything about finance and economics.
Now, as the founder and CEO of a growing company with a family of 25 companies across various industries and geographic locations, I can say with assurance that finance has been a profound passion in my life. My appreciation for these fields started at a young age and has only deepened as I have progressed in my career.
My story, much like many others, is an exploration of the journey towards self-discovery. Whether it is through art, the Bible, or finance, the key is to remain open to new experiences and not be confined to a single path. Each step of the journey brings new realizations and insights, making the process of self-discovery a lifelong endeavor.
Conclusion
Life is a journey, not a destination. We are continuously evolving and discovering more about ourselves. My journey began when art ignited my soul, and it has led me to my current passion for finance. If you are struggling to find your passion, remember that it is okay to explore and embrace new paths. The road to self-discovery is filled with twists and turns, but it is the journey itself that enriches our lives.
