Introduction

My contributions to society have been multifaceted, each one reflecting a deeper commitment to improving the lives of those around me. From serving on IBM's '9/11 Emergency Response Team' to teaching piano to people of all ages, I have strived to make a positive impact in various ways. My spiritual journey has also been a guiding force,manifesting the true and only evolution of being from zero to the ultimate of being eternal Bliss,which I believe is the greatest achievement one can achieve. This article will explore some of these efforts, focusing on how they have benefited society, and reflect on the importance of community service and digital education.

Personal Contributions and Spirituality

Throughout my life, I have engaged in numerous voluntary activities, some of which are more significant than others. I have consistently paid my taxes, served in the military, voted regularly, and been honest in my dealings. These are essential elements of a conscientious citizen. Additionally, I have donated to charities and assisted those in need, serving on IBM's '9/11 Emergency Response Team,' and by building and donating computers to those in need. My journey has also included teaching piano to people from the age of 3 to 89, as well as providing free coaching to students in my village. These actions reflect a commitment to personal and social responsibility.

Perhaps the most profound contribution I have made is my spiritual path, which has been my primary focus. I believe that we are born into mortality as intellectual beings to evolve towards eternal bliss. This purpose has driven me to engage in activities that align with this evolution, such as providing free education and digital literacy training to bridge the learning gap between the rich and the poor.

Contributions to Society

The best things we have done for our society involve fostering easier connections and cooperation among people. We have created laws and social norms that facilitate free trade and open communication, and we have developed technologies that promote communication and the exchange of ideas. Institutions like schools, hospitals, and community centers have also played a crucial role in building a strong and prosperous society.

Even as I currently reside in Mangalore, my roots are deeply in Odisha. In February of this year, during the lockdown, I returned to my village to find that the children there were unable to attend their primary schools due to the pandemic. Recognizing the importance of education, I decided to start a free coaching program. Although the initial enrollment was slow due to the restrictions, eventually, the parents and students embraced the program. Over the past six months, we have provided daily free education for three hours to 25 students, with around 20 being regular attendees. My younger brothers and I have dedicated our time to this initiative, ensuring that the students receive a quality education despite the technological limitations.

Impact on Society

One of the significant impacts of this program has been reducing the learning gap between the rich and the poor. Many parents in my village do not possess smartphones or televisions, which means their children often lack access to digital education. By providing face-to-face and digital education, we have managed to bring these children to a level playing field, bringing hope and a future to those who might otherwise be left behind.

Through my journey of personal fulfillment, I have come to understand the invaluable role of community service, particularly in the realm of education. By addressing the digital divide and providing free education, we can ensure that every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential, contributing to a more equitable and prosperous society.
