brWhen I wake up it’s like a light switch being turned on. My mind is alert and ready to go! I don’t awaken slowly so when I’m awake I get right to it. I make my breakfast, I get dressed, and I start my day. I have my greatest energy and motivation in the morning. I consistently awaken at 5 AM year-round. As a teacher, it’s required so I can prepare for the day and get to work by 7 AM. But even during the weekends, breaks, and the far too long summer layoff, I’m up that early.
